Day 1 - Arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport and met by "Leisure Tours Sri Lanka" Representatives and transfer to Ayurveda Resort Yapahuwa - Maho. At leisure in Ayurveda resort. Day 3 - After breakfast checkout from the hotel and leave to visit Sigiriya rock fortress, one of Sri Lanka's most fascinating UNESCO world heritage sites. No matter how often you climb to the summit of this one-time hilltop fortress of the maverick Sinhalese king, Kassapa, the pleasure barely diminishes because of the abandon spectacular views at the summit. Afterwards travel to Kandy another fascinating city of Sri Lanka. En route visit Dambulla cave temple. In Kandy visit temple of tooth and a spectacular Sri Lankan cultural show. Dinner and overnight stay in Kandy. SIGIRIYA ROCK FORTRESS Sigiriya the rock fortress of an v centaury A.D. is fortress pronounced the Eight wonder of the world. This citadel in the sky is a world heritage site, a great attraction. It’s gardens and terraces laid with water gardens fountains, Boulder Gardens cave Dwellings, Magnificent fresco paintings of the world famous Ladies of Sigiriya, The Mirror wall, The “Gigantic Lions” paws, The ruins of the palace and royal bath certainly tell us of the aesthetic sense of the king who exploited the skills of his peoples' and labor to achieve his Dream. CAVE TEMPLE DAMBULLA Which contains more than 150 Statues of the Buddha. This was where a king of the 1st Century B.C. took refuge and latter converted them into a monastery TEMPLE OF THE TOOTH RELIC OF BUDDHA Visit the Temple of the sacred tooth relic of the Buddha. This temple, the most important one for The Sri Lankan Buddhists was built in the 16th Century A.D. solely for the purpose of housing the tooth relic. Observe the magnificent Architecture of that period and experience the tranquility of the atmosphere. Day 4 - After breakfast travel to visit pinnawala elephant orphanage. And then visit peradeniya botanical garden. Afternoon travel deeper into the tea-growing hills and have the option to wind through the mountains with magnificent views. En-route to Nuwara Eliya you will visit a waterfall and a factory of the popular Sri Lankan Tea. Dinner and overnight stay in Nuwara Eliya. ELEPHANT ORPHANGE The foster – home of elephants of different age and size feed, bathe, play together and even mate. These great animals have been found injured or left abandoned in the wilderness. Now they even breed in captivity. BOTANICAL GARDEN En-route visit the Botanical Garden Peradeniya, which was a pleasure garden of a Kandyan King of the 16th Century and later made in to a Botanical Garden during the British regime. This garden, one of the best in Asia is a place of beauty and site for bird watchers. TEA FACTORY Visit a Tea Plantation and a Tea Factory. Sri Lanka being famous for its “Ceylon Tea” has added cheer to many the world over for more than a century. Arrive in Nuwara Eliya to be greeted by the fresh wintry atmosphere, the cottage type bungalows and the colonial air. ( Nuwara Eliya is also known as “Little England”) Day 5 - Have a city tour in Nuwaraeliya and visit colonial English buildings. NUWARA ELIYA CITY TOUR Drive through the little town of Nuwara Eliya observing the well-maintained buildings of colonial Architecture. Visit the busy market where the tea plantation workers rush in and out with their days provisions. Visit the lake Gregory built for generating power during the British Colonial age but now a feature that adds beauty to the city. Visit famous Ella gap. Enjoy the most beautiful sceneries in the Sri Lanka highlands. Dinner and overnight stay in Ella. Day 6 - After breakfast you travel to Yala national wildlife park and a have a jeep safari at the park. YALA NATIONAL PARK One of Sri Lanka 's premier eco tourism destinations, lies 24km northeast of Tissamaharama and 290km from Colombo on the southeast coast of Sri Lanka, spanning a vast 97,878 hectares over the Southern and Uva Provinces. The vegetation in the park comprises predominantly of semi-arid thorny scrub, interspersed with pockets of fairly dense secondary forest. Small patches of mangrove vegetation also occur along the coastal lagoons. The park is renowned for the variety of its Wildlife (most notably its many elephants) and its fine coastline (with associated coral reefs). It also boasts a large number of important cultural ruins, bearing testimony to earlier civilizations and indicating that much of the area used to be populated and well developed. Dinner and overnight stay in Tissa. Day 7 - Travel to Weligama beach for your beach holiday. Day 8 - Beach Stay with many choices of spending your time. Leisurely strolling on the Golden Beaches enthralled in the magical atmosphere. Lazing on a Sun deck reading a book of you choice, and sipping a cool fresh tropical fruit drink of pine apple, Mango, Banana. Water skiing, Wind Surfing, Snorkeling or cutting through the choppy on a jet water scooter, whale watching trips and much more….
